Quintetto by Quit Ensemble

An installation which translates the casual movement of fish in to sounds. The piece is composed of 5 vertical aquariums, each holding a single fish. As each fish swims up and down their own tank a camera tracks their movements and using computer software converts the motions in to digital sound signals. With each tank representing a different instrument the fish become the conductors of a live concert.
